About Xanthos

A small boutique hotel where the Lycian coast does the talking.

Xanthos Boutique Hotel sits on Palm Hill in the village of Patara, in the Kaş district of Antalya on Turkey’s southern Lycian coast, and has welcomed guests since 2007. Eighteen rooms across two floors and a two-bedroom apartment look over a spacious landscaped garden and a 180 m² half-Olympic pool with a separate children’s area — a few minutes from the longest beach in Turkey and the ruins of the ancient Lycian capital. It is a quiet, nature-first place, made for travellers who want to slow down rather than tick off a list.

Mornings begin with a generous Turkish breakfast buffet served in the garden under the trees. Days drift between the pool, the 18 km of open sand at Patara, and the antique light of the ruins next door. In the evening the hotel’s restaurant serves mostly Turkish cuisine — a wide spread of meze followed by meat or fish — while the village stays calm under a dark sky over the dunes. We arrange every excursion, from sea kayaking and diving to the Kekova boat tour and the Saklıkent canyon.

Patara is a protected national park and a monitored loggerhead-turtle nesting beach, so the coast stays wild and uncrowded. The hotel is about 1.5 hours from Dalaman airport and 3 hours from Antalya; the gentlest seasons are May–June and September–October, when the weather is mild and the beach is at its quietest.
