Patara Sea Kayaking
Paddle the calm, clear water off Kalkan and Kaş, gliding past hidden coves and rocky inlets you can only reach from the sea. A gentle half-day on the water, suitable for first-timers, with swimming stops along the way.

The Kaş–Kalkan coast is one of Turkey’s clearest dive areas — warm water, walls, caverns and reefs alive with grouper and octopus, and the occasional amphora from antiquity. Try-dives for beginners, guided dives for certified divers.

Sail out to Kekova island and the Sunken City — Lycian and Byzantine ruins half-submerged along the shore, visible through glass-clear water. The day passes the castle village of Kaleköy and quiet bays made for swimming.

One of the longest, deepest gorges in Europe — sheer rock walls with cold mountain water running through. Wade the river, scramble over worn stone, and lunch on platforms above the stream. A cool escape from the summer heat.

Behind the 18 km beach rise rolling sand dunes, gold at sunset and almost empty. Walk out among them in the late light — the quietest, most cinematic corner of Patara.
